I decided that maybe I should tell Caroline first, then I could ask her what to say and what to do.  Picking up my phone I dialled her number. Thank god she had come back yesterday. Sudden Changes part 10When I finished I quickly made my way back to my seat, making sure I did not make eye contact with anyone. The service continued and I don't speak a word about it till after. Sudden Change part 9Together we made our way to the funeral, I was in a long black dress and Michael was in a suit. The walk to the church was long and cold, it had been snowing all night. As we entered Michael took my hand to show he was here for me if I needed him.
As I entered I looked or Megs or anyone else I recognised, I saw a few of Amy's friends, Mary, Sonja, Zoe, Claire and Maria. I noticed my old friend Emma. After considering talking to her I decided not to considering this was really not the time or place to catch up. Michael held me around the waist as we stood silently waiting for the start.
