Sudden Changes part 19I found the drugs on his bedside table, in his bag, in his coat, jeans, everywhere. All kinds of drugs I found. All illegal. I burst into tears when I found out. How could he do this when we had a small child? It wasn't safe for Amy to grow up in this environment. I decided that I would confront him on this when he got home.
I was really worried what to say but I waited for him in the lounge. I had all the drugs I had found piled up on the small table. Amy was upstairs sleeping when he entered. "Michael can you come in here a moment lovely." I could hear him coming and I remained silent.

It was the happiest moment of my life to hold that small child in my hands, Michael stood by my side the whole way cancelling things to be with me, but he was becoming more withdrawn. We hardly spoke any more, Michael was unwilling he didn't want to speak to me. I worried that I had done something wrong, that I had upset him. I kept it hidden in my mind hoping it would pass and go back to the old me and Michael.

"Katherine Jackson!" "Oh Mike's mum, nice to meet you." I put my hand out for her to shake but recoiled it again quickly. "And you are?" "Nikki Jones, erm would you like me to get Michael." She nodded and I let her in before running upstairs
