Sudden Changes part 34I sat next to her in the hospital room. She still hadn't spoken or woken since the event. The doctors had told me that Nikki was in a coma and they were not sure if she would ever wake. Stroking her long black hair I wish I could have arrived before she jumped, why didn't I wake up earlier? I heard someone enter but I didn't look up to see who it was. I didn't want the person whoever they were to see I had been crying.
I felt a hand touch my shoulder. Looking up I noticed that it was Caroline. She smiled at me "I'm sorry I shouted at you Michael." I nodded to show I accepted the apology then looked back at Nikki. "Nikki will come back around
Sudden Changes part 33I stood in the darkness looking down and the chilly blue water below. Ok admit I was scared to jump. I knew that I wanted to do it and that I needed to do it but that didn't stop me being petrified from doing it. I looked across at the empty road there was nobody here to stop me. Standing on the edge of the barrier I prepared to jump.  I ignored the sound of a motorbike pulling up. As I jumped off I heard Michael scream my name. I yelled back "I love you!" before hitting the freezing water and descending into the dark depths.
(note to reader yes I know I have now written mj in first person instead of third but I kinda needed to for this bit
